A new year, a new stand and new instruments: Gregorio Martini returns to Cremona Mondomusica.
Gregorio Martini returned to Cremona Mondomusica with a new collection of instruments, from violins to a full-size double bass.
The exhibition is one of the most important meeting points for the world of lutherie: a place to compare work with fellow makers, to meet musicians and to hear how an instrument sounds in hands other than its maker's.
As always, the instruments were there to be played — the best way to understand an instrument is still to hear it.
